Dear Women: Let’s Stop Killing Each Other
Hearing a man calling a girl ‘whor*’ is outrageous, but having a girl saying that to another is UNNATURAL.
When you hurt me, you hurt yourself.
Just look around and think about how many women you or I might save by just taking care of our words, being soft and gentle.
We need to save each other. There isn’t a better way to transform reality.
It seems incredible, but women have a much more extensive vocabulary than men to refer offensively to other women. I know because I have heard ATROCITIES coming out from couples and friends (women) since I was in college.
There’s a shadow on the female gender that sill feeds on insecurity and machismo, and reacts against its own sex.
Bitch, whore, slut… Are women aware of everything they DESTROY when they refer to other women THAT WAY?
I’ve asked girlfriends and allies this question before, and while they seem to get my point, it’s not that they care too much about it.
It is not entirely their fault. In many Latin American countries, women raise their daughters to compete with other women, a femicidal version of The Hunger Games.
Generally, the prize is a sexy and wealthy man and the promise of a comfortable life.
It sounds nice… but it’s hell.
Women don’t need a sexy and wealthy man to ‘save’ them.
Women are STRONG!
Sadly, not all women think this way, so they end humiliating and sabotaging themselves AND others as if this would help them live a ‘Disney kind of love’.
Deep down, the thing is that if you don’t love yourself enough to believe you’re capable of succeeding, you will depend on someone else’s approval… Until you die.
We were born with a pocket full of capabilities, strength, and the madness enough to make magic. Still, something happens later, and we start doubting about who we are or what we deserve.
Sadly, it’s easy to believe you are worthless when your mind is flooded in pain, negativity, and pessimism. The good news is you can CHANGE YOURSELF just as you let your parents and society changed you before.
So love yourself more, princess. Start slowly and then fall madly in love with yourself.
Plus, next time you feel the urge to call another woman bitch or witch, ask yourself who are you, and where are those words coming from.
